Liu Fang is “the empress of the pipa” (L’actualité), a four-stringed lute with a pear-shaped body that dates from the second century BC. The dynamic Scott Yoo returns to conduct this exotic chamber music mix, and Fubuki Daiko gets things started with a thunderous overture!
