A baroque treat: Dixit Dominus!
Roy Goodman returns to the MCO podium for a special all-baroque concert with his former orchestra and The Winnipeg Singers, featuring Handel’s Dixit Dominus as a focal point. The setting of Psalm 110 is resplendent with colour, vocal virtuosity and driving energy.
The Winnipeg Singers
The Winnipeg Singers, under the direction of Yuri Klaz, is Winnipeg's premiere choir and has long been regarded as one of Canada's finest choral ensembles. The choir is a frequent guest of the MCO. Soloists have been announced: Marni Enns, soprano 1; Karis Wiebe, soprano 2; Kirsten Schellenberg, alto; Floyd Gadd, tenor; and David Klassen, bass.
