Michala Petri
and eternal youth…
"There is something about Petri's choice of instrument… that seems in a way eternally precocious and youthful…"
The clear, brilliant tone of the recorder is familiar to many parents, but few can match the virtuosity that Michala Petri brings to the instrument.
For this concert, she reprises a work created especially for her by Canadian composer Gary Kulesha, along with a beautiful work by Chen Yi called ‘Ancient Chinese Beauty.’
