Chamber Night: music
for diverse instruments
Our annual Chamber Night features MCO musicians in various ensembles just barely small enough to get by without a conductor. On their own, so to speak, they interact in a very dynamic and responsive way.
The programme, with its richly varied sound and unusual instrumentation, was selected by the musicians themselves. It’s their music, their way!
Pre-concert events / arrive by 6:45 pm to hear a presentation by saxophone students of UofM professor Allen Harrington. Also, at the McNally Robinson preconcert talk series, Don Anderson and company will discuss the music on Sunday, March 28th, at 2:00 pm in the Travel Alcove.
MCO Pizza Club
Book at least 3 days in advance for the MCO Pizza Club! Arrive at 6 pm for pizza and a pre-concert presentation with instructor Barbara Hamilton. Tickets are $7.50 for students including pizza; adults pay regular price. MCO Pizza Club sponsored by Dr. R. Bruce McFarlane.
