MCO puts the ‘special’ in events — whether we’re collecting and selling used records or booking musicians for your wedding, let us help you help us! Include a donation with your subscription order, or call us for more information on donations to honour special people or occasions, planned giving, the donation of stocks, etc.

Heartstrings gala

The main event, and the highlight of every chamber music lover’s calendar! The event is held in the elegant Crystal Ballroom at The Fort Garry on Broadway.
It’s Winnipeg’s heavenly fundraiser!

We've been at it for a long time, and we've got the most records! Browse the collection in the Vinyl Vault in the basement of the Power Building, located at 428 Portage Avenue. All sales take place on Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm; dates as follows:

Strings 'n Things

If you have unused musical instruments, consider donating them to the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra. We'll have the instruments appraised and issue a tax receipt to you for that value. After any needed repairs are completed, we'll find buyers for the instruments. All proceeds to the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra. Call 783-7377 or email for more information.

Of course, donations may be made at any time! Use this donor card if you wish to mail in a cheque, or just call the office at 783-7377 to make other arrangements.

MCO Endowment Fund

The Board and management of the MCO are especially proud of its sound financial record, including consistent operating surpluses. MCO's efficient operation has allowed it to present concerts which garner national and international attention.

In order to secure the continued success of the MCO an Endowment Fund has been established, under the management of The Winnipeg Foundation.

There are many ways to to help us enrich this Fund; Use this endowment donor card and the mail, or call the MCO office at 783-7377 to discuss your giving strategies. You may also make your donation online by visting The Winnipeg Foundation site; click on 'Donate online' and search for the 'Manitoba Chamber Orchestra Endowment Fund' after selecting the 'Search for the fund you wish to contribute to' button.
